The purpose of this privacy notice
This privacy notice aims to give you information on how EuroEXA and Iceotope collects and processes personal data through your use of the EuroEXA website, including any data you may provide through this website. It is important that you read this privacy notice with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing perosnal data baout you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data.
How do we collect your data
You directly provide EuroEXA with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:
- Complete a contact form
- Use or view our website via your browsers cookies
- Voluntarily complete a survey
- Comment within our comment sections
Where do we process your data
We process data at Iceotope’s registered offices: AMP Technology Centre, Brunel Way, Sheffield, S60 5WG. We apply UK data protection law to our processing.
How do we keep data secure
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those who have a business need to know. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
What are cookies?
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. When you visit the EuroEXA website, we may collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology.
If you leave a comment on the EuroEXA site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
How long do we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What we may need from you
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.
Time to respond
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

This privacy notice is issued on behalf of Iceotope group companies so when we mention “Iceotope”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy notice, we are referring to the relevant company in the Iceotope group of companies responsible for processing your data. Iceotope is the controller and responsible for this website.
